Re: Debate: Should Animals have the same rights as humans?

My apologies, when you said „interests” in your first argument I thought you meant as psychological hedonism, especially since you gave an example from masochism. Re: Debate: Should Animals have the same rights as humans?

Indeed, we are talking about interests and it was just a general conclusion on how humans and animals should be treated equally. Of course, humans are more complex since in the case of masochism taking on a role of subjugation and helplessness can offer a release from stress or the burden of respons...

Debate: Should Animals have the same rights as humans?

Re: 7 Reasons Why Cats are Terrible Pets (UV video)

That was very informative, personally, I prefer cats for representing the female archetype, such as grace, elegance, the oscillation between the need of attention and independence and maintaining their aspect through constant cleaning. Despite such traits, I do not plan to assume the responsibility ...

Re: Salutations fellow reader!

I do not think it was normal, although in the northern regions of my country, especially from the rural side they are known to be more religious. As for his harsh methods, surely it is not his fault since that is how he was taught as well, hunting and maintaining the household was part of his lifest...

Re: What was the craziest dream you've ever had?

I had a dream last night where I was visited by Zeus and gave me Aphrodite in the form of a cat, then he told me that she will take a human shape only if I learn to love unconditionally. After many attempts in which I offered attention and affection, the cat died of old age and Zeus appeared to tell...

Re: Salutations fellow reader!

I am studying psychology, will be finishing my first year and like I said, it is just a census. I imagine that there might be more in urban areas, yet they probably do not broadly affirm to others in public for various reasons I imagine. I also like philosophy or art in general, therefore it will no...

Re: Salutations fellow reader!

Well, based on a 2011 census, there are 20.700 atheists or 0.10% of the population, although I imagine that there are a lot more from younger generations which I have noticed to be more tolerant in general towards religion or orientation. My hometown was homogenous, never saw people saying that they...
