Shower thought here, if we didn't have nuclear energy, what would happen? Where would we try to be getting our energy from that's clean and efficient? Would we spend shitloads just to get solar and wind to be practical? Try to have a nice combination of fossil fuels and renewables?
I mean to be fair, given out political climate, this probably is not going to be a shower thought for long.
