Now that that cluster fuck of words is done, I'll just say that I may come around, but not as often as I used to. If any of you have any questions for me, I will happily answer them in the subposts(?) to this post.

They may be more rational than you in other areas, but you are ahead of them when it comes to religion.RedAppleGP wrote:Now, I can better understand that there are Christians that are more rational than me!
Of course, in that case, it can be good to be reasonably diplomatic too.Jebus wrote: Once you are a real vegan you are also a vegan ambassador,
Okay that's true.Jebus wrote:They may be more rational than you in other areas, but you are ahead of them when it comes to religion.RedAppleGP wrote:Now, I can better understand that there are Christians that are more rational than me!
Alrighty. However, now, I will do it more subtle, because i don't really want to cross the line. But thanks!Jebus wrote: worry too much about coming across as an anushole. Once you are a real vegan you are also a vegan ambassador, and as such you should realize that there are things at stake more important than how you are perceived by others in the short term.
Gee, thanks! It's good to be back. And thanks for the Happy birthday!EquALLity wrote:Hi, welcome back!
And happy birthday.
I removed my profile pic a few months back because at the time I was planning on never coming back. I may or may nor reupload it, but we'll see what happens.EquALLity wrote:Questions, well....
What happened to your profile picture?
And it's good to have you back!RedAppleGP wrote: Gee, thanks! It's good to be back. And thanks for the Happy birthday!

That's always the big question. Do I come on so softly that my message is barely noticed or do I attack so strongly that the message is heard but potentially rejected due to personal dislike. Perhaps this question is worthy of its own thread.brimstoneSalad wrote:Welcome back!

Absolutely. And lots of research. It's a balancing act, and there's probably calculus involved in there somewhere with the sociology, psychology and economics.Jebus wrote: That's always the big question. Considering the type of adjective that you used to describe Dusty, I assume that you dislike him. Why? Do you feel that his negative criticism of religious people is wrong, or too strong (generalizes them and portrays many of them as even more irrational than they actually are)? Is it his excessive cursing, or perhaps his obnoxious style of speaking? All of the above? I could understand that many people would get rubbed the wrong way by him, so I'd like to hear your opinion on him. Thank you.RedAppleGP wrote:yea, I mostly thought that religious people were the most irrational people on the planet, like that fuckface Cult of Dusty
