When we are born we don't know anything about religion or god until we are conditioned by our parents, pastors, etc. So we are born atheist then become brainwashed by religion.

The 'original' existed before modern language, but in linguistic terms, all words are meant to be meaningful and useful.
If morality is supposed to be subjective, that makes the concept pretty much meaningless and useless.

You have to push pretty hard to form a definition so incoherent and widely accepted before the incoherent concept has more claim to the word than the alternative.
