I would say mixed reactions mostly people shy away from debate or discussion. I would say out of politeness or because i can be pretty boisterous so they just want to avoid an energetic conversation with me. How about you? what was it like switching to vegan? What was your religious background before you were atheist?Cirion Spellbinder wrote:Welcome Skeptical Gorilla!
How do other people react to your vegan lifestyle?
For me it was easy. On occasion I get a snarky remark, but it's overall good. I was a Christian of no particular denomination before I realized that there was no god.SkepticalGorilla1985 wrote: I would say mixed reactions mostly people shy away from debate or discussion. What was it that made you realize there was no god? For me it was all the suffering in the world and how there never seemed to be consequences for bad things.Cirion Spellbinder wrote:For me it was easy. When I was in the 5th grade I kind of just realized that there was no evidence supporting the existence of God. I never really even thought about the moral aspects of religion until a few years ago.SkepticalGorilla1985 wrote: What was it that made you realize there was no god?
