Boycott Nestle

Post by MWilders »

Do not buy any Nestle products!!!

Seriously, Nestle is a very bad company and you do not want to support them. I don't know if they do vegan food (since most people here are vegan), but if they do, never buy from Nestle. They have done some seriously bad schemes, such as convincing breast feeding mothers in LEDCs to feed their babies baby formula instead of breast milk, which is not only less nutritious, but they often made the formula with polluted water sources, making it even worse and more dangerous. They have also tried to control the world water supply and make people pay for it, reducing the status of water from a 'right' to a 'need'. They have insisted that Ethiopia pay them back $6 million in debt during a severe famine, they have used child labour, fixed chocolate prices (doesn't really apply to vegans), they claimed that their 'environmentally responsible' water was superior to other consumer products, which wasn't true, and most of their bottles weren't even recycled (so much for 'environmentally responsible'), they have bottled water unfairly and unlawfully in California and Oregon, and much more I am sure.

Nestle is a seriously bad company, and you don't want to buy any products from them.
