So I am an atheist and decided to join this forum to get advice on how to be vegan. I work in the food processing industry but my job does not involve dairy or meat, just fruit and vegetable juices and carbonated beverages. My problem at the moment is getting enough nourishment from a vegan diet while doing manual work, but more about that in another thread.
Another issue is that I have a cat, who came to me from my sister, and I know that carnivorous pets are a hot topic among vegans. It doesn't live with me anymore, though, so feeding it is no longer my problem. I had to leave it behind when I moved into the city, it was so used to the outdoors and I couldn't take that away from it so now it lives with my mother in the country.
Well, I think that is enough about me for the moment. I hope to have many interesting discussions about these and other topics in the forum. Thanks!
Edit: Oh, and I live in Finland, if that is of interest to anyone. Cheers!
Greetings, fellow sinners

Welcome newlevel!
Nutrition-wise, the most important thing is beans or legumes of some kind for protein, iron, zinc. Those are pretty widely available and there are a lot of options there (even roasted, like a snack food).

Hello, newlevel, welcome to the forum. Glad to hear that you'd like to go vegan. I'd also be happy to offer advice if you'd like.
