"I am not sure what I just witnessed."
I just watched a movie called 'The Box' (spoiler alert), in which the basic idea is that a man gives a box to a couple with a button that if pushed will result in one random person's death and the couple receiving one million dollars. The couple pushes, but doesn't realize that it is a test on human nature by aliens, and if they push the button, that the button-pusher will be killed when the next person who receives the box pushes it.
It might sound interesting in theory, but there are a bunch of random elements of the story that make absolutely no sense.
I don't even know where to begin, really.
Well, for starters, there is one part where the wife is talking to the box man, and the husband is at a church where he gets the option to walk through a gate (the entire congegation also randomly gets up and silently watches). Two lead to eternal damnation, one leads to salvation, and refusing to choose leads to eternal damnation. Water rises from the gates, and when the husband walks into one, it transports him to right above his wife in their bed, where he ends up falling onto the bed and the water splashes everywhere.
It's never explained what the hell that was.
Also, at the end, the man decided to kill his wife (she consented because it stopped her son from being blind and deaf, which I think was a curse placed on him when he was kidnapped and taken through a portal in a pool somewhere with people watching silently). However, when the police came, they handcuffed him, and then un-handcuffed him randomly, and he got in the back of a random car. Then, you saw that his son was in the window with a random old man as the car drove away.
Also, there's this random girl who lied about her identity to the wife, and there was bizzare scene with her and a bunch of other people 'preparing' for something. I think for the pool portal thing... Maybe they were going to go in after the son?
I just have no idea what that movie is supposed to be. I think it's the craziest movie I've ever seen.
I kept waiting for something to tie it all together no that it'd make sense... But nope.
What are the craziest movies you guys have seen?

Mr. Nobody is the craziest movie I have ever seen, and it's also one of the best. I highly recommend checking it out.
