I am actually french, but had to come here for family reasons.
So I am considering the US or Canada.
That's good to hear.

But why try to have a boyfriend there at all? You should focus on your studies, and then you'll surely find a man who's worth you in the states or Canada. Stick around here and you'll meet some nice vegan atheist guys on this forum.

If you're entangled with this meat eating Christian, then you'll suffer the opportunity cost of not being able to meet somebody better, and worse might get stuck with him (emotional attachment is not rational, and anybody can fall victim to it).

Saul was a monster, you can find mountains of wicked, hateful, misogynistic quotes from him. I consider him one of the most evil people who ever lived. He fought against every shred of moral philosophy and vegetarianism in early Christianity, and perverted the teachings of the early 'Christians' (possibly of Jesus too, if he existed). He never met Jesus, and didn't understand anything about his teachings.
Shit really? So that whole tale where he saw a light on his horseback on his way to Damascus was a lie? Did he just use religion to his advantage to gain wealth and power? He screwed with the original teachings? That sounds deep. Okay never mind then.

He may have also had a temporal lobe seizure.

OR to destroy early Christianity, which he hated, by perverting it into something very different.
He was a Christian hunter (a hunter of Christians), after all.
If you can't beat em', join em' then become their leader and radically change their doctrines so it has nothing to do with what they originally were.
