BRAVEHEART! I think that's my favorite. I love Mel Gibson movies in general.

I saw it, it's pretty good but didn't make me want to watch it again.

It was a powerfully emotional movie, the action was great, and so was the acting.

If any of you have seen the new movie, then I'd like to hear your thoughts on it, without spoiling it for those who haven't.
I loved it! It made me feel like a kid again. Some others I know were so clung to nostalgia they thought it ruined Star Wars. Their loss!

Wow, no one mentioned Matrix yet, is it not that famous o.O

I think it's storyline is The Best(if you really get it, which I have to say the movie hides very beautifully)

Yeah, I realize that a lot of "Star Wars fans*" dislike the new Star Wars movie, especially because it had many similarities to A New Hope. This wasn't so bothersome to me, because despite the similarities, characters dealt with them differently, and the movie still had plenty of differences. It's certainly one of my favorites. Better than Episodes I through IV, but probably not better than V & VI. I don't know.

*I find it odd that many "fans" complain about the "shitty Prequels" being too different from the Originals, and therefore are "bad". However, the most common negative criticism of Episode VII is that it was "too similar" to Episode IV. It's impossible to please everyone. It seems like the producers of VII went to great lengths to make it be an experience much more like the Originals, rather than the Prequels. Not that I hate the Prequels; I like all 7 movies, the 2 TV-series, and some of the EU. While the Prequel movies had plenty of flaws, I think that they get too much hate.

Yes it's definitely impossible to please everyone. I don't mind the same tropes being used at all, as long as the movie is enjoyable, and this new one was great fun!

I like the prequels too, but much less than the originals for sure. I've been trying to set up a Star Wars marathon with friends for a long time but I never have enough time to do it. :D
