I started a topic in general/fun, about if Trump was the best thing that could happen to Bernie Sanders. It was meant to be a funny theoretical look at how if Trump was elected, it would benefit Bernie Sanders in the long run. I just learned that Ted (F_ING bible in my pocket!!) Cruz has gotten the nomination from the Iowa caucus. And, (as I predicted) Hillary got the democratic nomination. (1 outta 2 ain't bad, except when it is )
To be honest, I liked Trump for republican nomination, because I thought he was such a dumb-ass none of his policies would get past paper. (Who in their right mind would think banning an entire religion (flawed as it may be) would get past his desk!! He was so flawed it would be easy for our do-nothing congress to vote him down!!! But Ted (FU^$^%&) Cruz?!! That guy really scares me!!! (On one hand, if he was running against Bernie, he wouldn't have a chance. But against Hillary, I'm really worried.....(not hillary bashing, I'm really worried this bible beatin' so far right I can only see the sunrise' @$$ has a chance to be president!!) Obviously, I'm not going to vote for Cruz. But I really didn't want to vote for Hillary either, because then It seems like I'm just saying "politics as usual" is o.k. ...... PLEASE, someone smarter than myself give me some positive advice..............please....
About Hillary Clinton 'winning' Iowa, they essentially tied. She won by .4%.
I don't think that's really a win for someone who was supposedly a shoe in for the nomination and Presidency.
Bernie Sanders was supposed to be unelectable, and yet he basically tied with Hillary, and he's going to win New Hampshire (average 14 point lead there). I was really hoping he would actually win, but even though he technically didn't, I still think this helps him more than it helps Hillary.
If it's Hillary vs Cruz in the end, then since she's the lesser of two evils, I think you should go Hillary.
She's really not that bad, for your average democratic politician. But she's very establishment, yeah.
I guess I identify as Libertarian, so there is no way I could vote for Cruz. Also, how so many people can support a man who thinks it's "God's will" to have your incestual rape child really makes me sad. So Ted vs. Hillary, establishment wins over insanity..... I think I need to go watch funny cat videos now......
