Meta-ethics

Post by miniboes »

I've been listening to this video series on meta-ethics: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... FAcQnEkFDJ

I thought meta-ethics was what I now know to be normative ethics, which we talk about most of the time. I find meta-ethics quite interesting and confusing though. I find myself leaning towards moral realism, but really am not sure. What are your views on meta-ethics?

That's what we're arguing when we explain how subjectivism/relativism makes morality functionally useless. We don't have to argue these points with somebody who is already a realist.
