Logo to big(moble)
When I attempt to click on notifications or private messages I click on the philosophical vegan title and get token back to the home page.
Its a nice feeling when people can agree on something. Don't you agree?

I have this issue too, both on iPhone and various android phones

Just zoom in onto your notifications, then press a little bit above it.

It's some kind of problem with the form skin on mobile sizes (the clickable area for the notifications is bad). I don't think it can be fixed easily, but as Red says, if you zoom in and click above it it should work. There is a correct link area up there, but it's above the visible link.
