Resizing Avatars
I have a selfie I'd like to use as my avatar, but I'm told by the system it's too big. I found a resizing forum and re-sized it down to 120 x 120 pixels, but it came out tiny. I see other avatars on here that are much bigger. I may be too techno-dumb to understand, but maybe somebody could try explaining this to me. Don't worry, if I get too confused I won't pursue it.

Re: Resizing Avatars
120x120 is the max size currently.
Which avatars are bigger?
The issue may be your resizing. Some algorithms work better than others to retain crispness. You may also want to crop and then resize.
EDIT: I changed the width allowed to 180 if that helps.
Larger Avatars are just a problem when they stretch the screen down. There's excess horizontal space, though. I don't know why I never thought of that before... I guess I just didn't think outside the square.
