I used to have an African Bullfrog and Firebellied toads, but I recently returned them to the pet store because I'm not a good caretaker. I want to adopt a dog or pig at some point in my life.

A pig is a good option if you're going to be blogging and sharing cute photos and videos. They're a lot of work, though.
Rescue chickens would be easier, and have the same benefit of showing people that typically regarded food animals have personalities and feelings.
