This looks great; anybody thinking of taking it?
It's not clear if it's free.

It seems a bit above my level, but if it's free and if I can go at my own pace, I'll try it out!

It looks very cool. Does anyone know how it works?

I'll take it, I'll try to do it on the weekends. Maybe we can discuss some of the readings and assignments here when it starts.

You can just enroll in the class and the lessons will become available one by one every week starting 20/2. There will probably be some assignments as well. It's free if you don't need a certificate.

Thanks for the reply inator.
I am considering it as well. I am just worried about the level of commitment required - English is not my first language and I have other academic stuff to take care of at the moment.
So, is there actually a way to fail the course?

Based on other Coursera classes, I assume you "fail" it if you don't hand in a certain number of assignments or if there's a test at the end of the class. Who cares, though? Enrolling simply means you get access to the material. You can go through it or through parts of it at your own pace.
