It's ironic that you both currently have a very small profile picture. I think profile pictures are great for recognition / identification, but it shouldn't get too much in the way of the actual post (especially not on mobile platforms). So I recommend TheVeganAtheist to not make it too big.

I get that, but your profile picture is significantly smaller than mine for example. You could upload a bigger one than you currently have.

One problem I mentioned was big profile pictures on small (phone) screen sizes; this problem is horizontal, decreasing the width of the actual content of the post to make room for a bigger profile picture. Another one would be that the posts get (unnecessary) vertically bigger on posts with little content.

For me, the bandwidth issue is larger, although that's a matter of file size rather than image size, the two are usually related, and people will tend to upload larger files if the images are larger.

I tried uploading the entire picture, but it was too big.
So I shrunk it enough so that I pretty much knew that it would fit.
Trial and error is annoying. :p

I just made it bigger. But I'd rather the website be able to take your picture and make it the right size. It's more convenient.

I was thinking around here. If you can, try moving the ad down and replacing it with the tweet section, so that the ad is below the recent tweets, but only if you know how to. But also make sure you know that there's a way to do this. If you can't do it, disregard my idea, but it was just an idea.
