Hi, I'm and old user who has changed their mind on many things since posting here last. I didn't break any rules, but my posts were mostly embarrassing and stupid. Even if my old account's posts could be deleted, I don't think I'd want to be associated with my past self.

Anyway, I want to discuss the idea of "plant based capitalism" which is an idea promoted by users on r/vegancirclejerk.

Note: Plant-Based Capitalism is not ethically vegan. PBC includes but is not limited to Fast Food Megacorporations (McDonalds/Subway/KFC/Burger King/Carl's Jr etc.) that are making money for the Animal Agricultural Lobbyists by following the plant based trend.

Is PBC meant to be a bad thing that they're opposing? I'm not quite clear on what it's representing.

Hehe, no, it's a tribute to an old friend who went by this name. I don't think I ever asked why he called himself that. It was likely because of that band, although they seem quite bad to my ears . I'm happy he introduced me to some more nicer-sounding Swedish punk bands, like Ebba Grön and Imperiet.
