Welcome to the forum Schubert!
I'm curious, would you mind sharing more details about your psilocybin trip? I don't think I've ever met a vegan who was inspired that way.

How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

There wasn't anything special besides the clichés about the feeling of oneness with nature and all livings beings. But more than that it felt like my empathy was freed from a lock that wasn't supposed to be there.
Psylocibin makes you feel incredible and it gives you a lot of gratitude and perspective on your life, and it heals just so much. It wasn't out of the blue anyway, of course I was thinking about "becoming" vegan for a while before. I always knew it was the only right way to live since I was a teen (17) starting to read my firsts anarchists texts, and yet for some years I didn't take the final step. I think this lack of coherence between what I thought it was right and what I was still eating had an impact on my mental health.
That's all in the past luckily, now I'm just depressed because of the world as whole haha
Welcome Schubert, I hope you like it here. That's definitely one of the most interesting going vegan stories. I wonder if we should be promoting mushrooms to save the world.
