hello peoples
My lactose intolerance started me down a road that led to becoming vegetarian as well. I'm not 100% vegan but I do prefer a vegan diet. Sometimes for financial reasons and when I'm in more rural areas traveling it's hard to stick to it. I've wanted to go completely vegan for a couple years now, though. Eventually I want to transition my dogs to a mostly vegetarian diet, with ethically sourced eggs. I don't think they'll miss meat if I'm preparing them food, they love home cooked meals and love veggies, I just want to be able to do it right so they don't lack any nutrients. my partner is pescatarian and eats dairy and supports whatever choices I make but doesn't plan to make the same choices and I don't have any vegan friends so it would be cool to get to know some like minded people!

Hello monkeytrain, welcome to the forum!
If you don't mind answering, where are you from? That'll help us give you advice on what to do.
It is possible to feed dogs vegan, but why do they need to eat eggs? I'm not sure on the health effect of eggs in dogs, but they aren't necessary for them.
Have you talked with your partner more about this? It can be problematic for a vegan's partner to not also be vegan, it can lead to recidivism.
