Sure this is a Cracked article and nothing like finding information from something like Nature magazine, but it is hard to find someone that will be honest about what some things are like in the porn industry. He does address the issue about condoms, in porn, if your wondering why I've linked the article.
As far as porn goes, I don't see much problem with it. As long as it is consenting and the people involved have a clear understanding as to what they are getting into it makes no sense to impose your views, to such an extent, that it makes it illegal.
I'm much more annoyed by the hypocritical, non-sensical, religious crowd and the "Will someone think of the children!" hysterical crowd. If they are so worried about "the children" maybe they should center their efforts on being an involved, responsible parent.

Great article!

If you live in California and you voted on it, what you read on the ballet was "Do you think sex workers should have to wear condoms?" It's like "Should kids learn how to read?" Of course! But then there's the reality of it: Say a girl's doing a typical shoot with a guy. It'll wind up as 10 minutes of porn after editing, but it's gonna take four hours to film. And if you've ever had sex with a condom for four hours, congratulations on your nerve-deadened penis! Now apologize to your partner, because condoms are rough. Abrasive. They cause tiny microscopic tears in the vagina. You're running around after your marathon sex-epic high-fiving strangers on the street, but keep in mind that you basically just spent the runtime of Return of the King lightly sanding your partner's genitals.
I have to wonder why they don't consult with a chemist and use the appropriate lubrication, or get specialized condoms, but I guess they're on a budget and that's not always possible.
My problem with the idea that porn objectifies anyone seems negligible to me.Its like saying that people don't understand the difference between fantasy and reality. While I admit I have visited sites of explicit nature I would never take any of the things I have seen in reality as a truth it is as if you were to see a movie as truth.Personally I don't see a problem with anything of this sort as long as it can be understood as fantasy with two consenting parties with no underage individuals a part of it.Its like the people who say that violent video games cause violent acts which is only the case when the offender is metal ill and should not be used as the standard.
