Take your toys and go home then, if you're too lazy to challenge your dogmatic preconceptions, or bother to read my other posts.Jebus wrote:Brimstonesalad.

[You can't fire me, because I QUIT!!!]
Like I already said, this isn't a topic of particular interest to me to discuss. This isn't a debate, this is just a matter of fact.
You can make up your own facts if you want, but you're flatly wrong, and even the slightest amount of research (or reading my other post, where I already did that for you) will demonstrate that.
If you even bother to read the very link you posted while dishonestly pretending it supports your argument, you will see that it clearly contradicts you, and most Muslims who nominally support Sharia law do NOT support stoning apostates.
Status: FALSEJebus wrote:Reza Aslan is right when stating that the most moderate Muslim countries are the largest ones, but they too support Sharia law, which includes stoning of those who abandon the Muslim faith.
Case in point:
INDONESIA: The Largest Muslim Country In The World
Muslim population: ~204,847,000
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_I ... us_freedomThe Indonesian Constitution provides "all persons the right to worship according to their own religion or belief" [...]
Although it has an overwhelming Muslim majority, the country is not an Islamic state. Over the past 50 years, many Islamic groups sporadically have sought to establish an Islamic state, but the country's mainstream Muslim community, including influential social organizations such as Muhammadiyah and NU, reject the idea.
Percentage of Indonesian Muslims who want Sharia law and favor the death penalty for Apostates from Islam: 13%
That's not to say Indonesia is a bastion of Religious freedom, which it certainly isn't. Those 13% are rabid fundamentalist monsters.
But Apostacy isn't technically illegal there, and it's not something people get legally stoned for or that most Muslims there support (although this guy got sent to prison for Blasphemy, which still is, and is another very serious human rights issue: http://thejakartaglobe.beritasatu.com/a ... ander-aan/ ).
Yes, because you're being an idiot. Stop being a lazy idiot. Stop making up facts and read the link that YOU posted.Jebus wrote:At the same time you made a condescending comment towards me (cliffs notes).
Or continue being an idiot. That's fine too. Like I said, this isn't a big issue for me. But you're just making yourself look bad by being so ignorant.
And calling me ignorant in the process isn't helping your case.
If you want respect, how about trying to intelligently support your claims?
It's not something you can do, though, because this is a matter of fact and in this case you are flatly wrong. No amount of screaming or pouting will make the Earth flat, or your arguments true.
