Hello, djandersonza! Welcome to the forum. How long have you been an atheist and a vegan?

Hi Douglas, welcome to the forum!
Impressive that you read the Bible and Koran. Were you 'searching' at the time, and planned to read all of the 'holy books'?

Welcome Douglas. I once had the ambition to read both the bible and the Koran in their entirety but only got through about a third of each. Too much bullshit being repeated over and over again, I couldn't take it anymore. You must be a very patient man. By the way, Cape Town is one of my favorite places on the planet.
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

Hello! (: I hope you find this forum to be as welcoming and fun as much as I do.
I have read some of the Qur'an or Koran before, but have not been exposed to much of the Bible 3: But I know the reality of those 'holy books', and I would rather spent my time on something else rather than analyzing it.
I agree with the others ^ me. It's really cool how you have read both the Qur'an and the Bible =0 Damn that must have required some time and determination. Well done!
Enjoy your stay, and do not let the trolls that stop by, well, anywhere, to bother you (:

It sucks to be labelled as a 'cow' and an 'immoral bastard' just for being a vegetarian and an atheist, respectively, but I find it liberating to know that my lifestyle is based upon compassion and science! Not some total BS.

Hi djandersonza, welcome to the forum. Of the two books, which was harder to get through and why? What was your motivation for reading both?
