You should finish your nursing degree, that would be awesome.

Imagine how many people you would meet who have health problems, that you could advise on adopting a vegan diet, as a nurse. Also, nurses are in seriously high demand. You'd never want for a job, and the pay is good.

I'd rather become a Doctor I like to be in control too much to become a nurse...
I can finally afford to go back to school now that I am a single mom and I'm 25 now I can use my own taxes...

Becoming a doctor is great, but takes a long time. A nurse can become a doctor, and work and gain experience while doing it. Spend excess income on medical school while you're nursing, and get that nice tax write-off. Then you can fast track past some of the long residency requirements.

There are three or four intermediate levels between nurse and doctor, where you can prescribe medicine, and all sorts of cool things, different kinds of nurse-practitioners.

I may just got to massage therapy school for a year and start my own homeopathic vegan spa..

The reason I got 'let go' from my job working with a GP was because I was giving the patients advice & the dr didn't like that.. I wasn't giving bad advice either just women advice like a patient that was coming in with repeat UTI's and infections and I decided to investigate and told her that she needed to change her panty liner every four hours instead of twice a day like she was doing... You can't give advice if you're not the DR..
I had to do an internship to graduate from the Clark Advanced Learning Center and I choose a funeral home, I had to talk to the family's about the death & I wonder if that would be the best time to get a family to think about eating better.. There father just died of a heart attack "Now mom you have to prevent this from happening to you and your children let me sign you up for a free vegan starter kit from PETA" ...

Did you get that from the stand up routine you linked to?

Massage can be good, but you know homeopathy is bunk, right?

http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Homeopathy.

Herbal medicine is real (real effects, and real side effects), but that's completely different from homeopathy, which is just water (literally, just water).
Sometimes legitimate herbal medicine is mislabeled as homeopathic.

Hopefully not anything about homeopathy.

You may have better luck consulting with the doctor first about what you can talk to patients about. Also, information handouts can be good.

Yes I do, I would just use that term more as an advertising scheme to get people to come in.. All I'd be licensed to is massage and maybe some other cosmetic specialty's. I used the wrong term for sure

Haha no at that time I had no idea about any alternative medicine practice or veganism...
I don't think any doctor would like a nurse giving their patients medical advice contrary to his beliefs... They have to sign an oath you know and now they're trying to change the cholesterol guide lines ...
When a patient was diagnosed with high cholesterol I'd give them a diet plan that would tell them to only eat an egg once a week now they want to change those guidelines and say that it is okay to eat an egg once a DAY!!
