introduction of an old member

Post by bobo0100 »

it occurred to me that I never made an introduction post when I joined the forum.

I'm a pan-sexual (sexual/romantic attraction to people of any gender, or sexual/romantic attraction to people regardless of there gender), vegan, atheistic, furry (member of the fandom revolving around the anthropomorphising of animals, its NOT bestiality). I live, and always have lived, in NT Australia, and I am currently finishing year 12 of high-school (the final year for those who don't know the Aussie education system). My interests include ancient history (mainly the historiography of Jesus), philosophy (mainly ethics), and lately government and politics. I am also an active advocate for woman's rights, LGBTQ(PPAA)+, animal rights, and separation of church and state.

...Welcome to the forums? ;)

How long have you been a vegan, and how long have you been an atheist?

I've been vegan for about 2 years, and atheist for about 1.5.

Reaction to:
Vegan, all the normal objections. I just try to avoid them around meal times, harder said than done. It weakens my relationship with my family. On the other hand my brother has become veggaterain and my sister vegan.

Atheism, In Australia atheism is not an invitation to mistreatment. So reactions have not been bad, every once in a while I get into a theological debates it's much fun.

Pan sexuality, my friends have all been (for the most part) unchanged. My siblings are supportive, my parents shall remain in blissful ignorance. I have actually found my relationships with people have improved massively. But the same is probably not true for my parrent who belieave that Noah's ark actually happened.
