Intellectual Honesty

Post by Cirion Spellbinder »

Hello everyone!
Here's the topic:
1) Do you consider yourself to be an intellectually honest person whenever it becomes necessary?
2) What practices can one take to be more intellectually honest?
3) Do others consider you intellectually honest?
Thanks! I am always curious to see how people respond.

What do you mean?

"whenever it becomes necessary?"

You're either intellectually honest all the time, or likely not at all.

Intellectual honestly is just about being consistent and recognizing facts.
Try to avoid rationalizing, and look into things even if you don't agree with them (or particularly if you don't agree with them).
