Have you heard of the Chagossians?

Post by Jebus »

This late 20th century atrocity by the U.S. and Britain is a big deal where I live. I highly recommend this 56 minute documentary for those of you who are unfamiliar with the issue.

How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

EquALLity, this is also relevant to the other thread's discussion:

At 42 minutes:
Order in council [...]
It's a royal decree using archiac powers which are known to most of us as still invested in the queen
[...]
The queen rubber stamps what in many cases politicians know they can't get away with democratically
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_in_Council

The powers are rarely used, but the royalty along with the last remnants of its medieval power is still a monstrosity.

Ah yes, I see.

And while we're on the subject of Bush, Blair, crimes and invasions...: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtEH6wZXPA4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sJqROHxjDA :D

That's a very interesting film. Thanks for sharing Jebus! Glad I know.
