There you go making bold assertions again.EquALLity wrote: That gives him an advantage in the eyes of voters; it doesn't actually make him a an equal candidate (which is what we're discussing).
Trump IS a politician. He's full of rhetoric and empty promises. He just talks like the average person- he's a master manipulator.

Accusing me of making a 'bold assertion' doesn't actually change the reality of my statement.RedAppleGP wrote:There you go making bold assertions again.EquALLity wrote: That gives him an advantage in the eyes of voters; it doesn't actually make him a an equal candidate (which is what we're discussing).

Yes, because you're again assuming that your statement is correct. Say "I do think he's a politician though" or in this case "I'm pretty sure I ain't wrong on this one, motherfucker" then I'll let you slide.EquALLity wrote:Accusing me of making a 'bold assertion' doesn't actually change the reality of my statement.

1) She went out of her way to make sure no one knew who she was comunicating with. It's against the State's Department protocols to use a private messaging system in order to mantain official comunications. In fact, i't's against the protocols to even use said messaging system in the first place.EquALLity wrote: 1) Please elaborate on why the emails matter.
2) Her charitable FOUNDATION received the money, and I agree it's a problem. But I don't think that alone makes her worse than Trump
3) Do you have a source that she advocated for war with Russia?
4) That's a problem, but it's not unique to her. Obama lied about being against marriage equality when it was politically expedient.
5) Yeah, all politicians are influenced by their donors. That's not unique to her.
2) There's a law that says politicians aren't allowed to receive donations from overseas, because if so foreign people could influence the course of the country, so what do you do to avoid said law? You create a "Foundation" that is able to recieve donations from overseas. This is essentially what Hillary did. Nothing more than a big money laundry scheme. Some of her contributors include Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait goverments, just to name a few. Not only is it bad in it of itself that they are able to influence her by donating, but it also makes you wonder: Why did governments known for their violation of basic human rights chose to donate Hillary.

4) Fair enough, but you should watch this regardless. I consider it thought-provoking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ip3QNCzSsrw
5) It's not only that she's influenced by her donors, but who are said donors. As i stated earlier, she recieves quite a lot from overseas, not to mention wall street, which is an important issue as well.
