Interesting point. Kind of like pointing out that black men are more likely to die from heart disease. It generalizes something about a particular race but isn't racist.

It has gotten out of hand. I agree with Sam Harris that the political correctness and identity politics of the left definitely contributed to Trump winning.

I'm not sure how important those issues are in the big picture, though. While it's pretty horrifying to witness the left's uncritical embrace of Islam and black supremacism, now we have climate change deniers and creationists running the White House instead. The whole atheist/skeptic community tunnel-visioned on social justice and saw it as the biggest danger, while ignoring Trump's huge flaws. I'll admit it was hilarious to see the meltdowns of all the SJWs when Trump won, but probably not worth destroying the planet over!

I agree that the election was a reaction to the SJW trend.
