From what I now read the taste is pretty boring, and it used to be eaten by the poor. But it might be nice, maybe I make myself some polenta sometime. ;)

I thought it was about polenta too, before you explained.

It's nothing fancy, just cornmeal. Of course, almost anything tastes good fried.

Sir Skeptalot, a.k.a. the Armoured Skeptic is my second* favorite anti-nonsense/anti-dogma YouTuber. He does an outstanding job of debunking and demolishing bull$#!& claims made by evolution-deniers, theists, religious fanatics, and overall irrational individuals. I too would like to develop the intellectual prowess needed to debunk popular (yet false) claims & beliefs that may be pervasive or even dangerous to society. This I hope explains the "Armoured" part of my username.

Additionally, when I play RPGs like Oblivion and Skyrim, I have a preference to wear heavy armour. Armour in general fascinates me, so the nickname just seemed right.

As for "Abolitionist" I hope that's obvious and self-explanatory. I want animal use to end.

*My #1 favorite anti-nonsense/anti-dogma YouTuber is of course TheVeganAtheist. I list Armoured Skeptic as #2 because so far he only seems to discuss matters of science, religion, and atheism on his channel. This is great of course, but there is so much more he can still do in the eternal struggle against dogma and nonsense. I wonder if he's a vegan. Maybe somebody should ask him. It saddens me to discover intelligent & rational atheists who either don't address the topic of veganism, don't show any interest in it, or worst are vehemently opposed to it.

I just simply got my username from a song I like a lot. I don't even have any personal significance with the lyrics like some might assume from someone who chooses a song title as their username, I just like the way the song sounds.

I edited the name slightly, because I wanted my name to be a short two syllables long name instead of the eight syllable "Dreamsphere (Return to the Chaos)"

Here's a link to the song if anyone's interested, though I know I posted this song once before maybe even twice here, I'll put it here for quick access to anyone interested in the song that my name's from who haven't heard it before.

I listened to your namesake just now. Glorious black metal tunes!

Its a mixture of Corona and Lich.

13 Years ago i was playing CS in tournaments as Lich, the mythical creature I first encountered several years before in might and magic (4?6? i dont know) where you could become one after being a necromancer and sacrifice your internal organs and skin to replace them with magical once and thus become greater in power.
Im an ingenieer with spezialisation in optics and like optical phanomena like coronas. Because of this i had chosen the nickname coron for some time.
Both names were usually taken in most game. I combined them to corelich.

I'm glad you liked it. Sigh definitely still had some Black Metal sound in them in that song, but they also have other stuff that's even more Black Metal influenced in their discography too, whereas the song of my namesake has more of Heavy Metal + Black Metal + Avant-garde/Experimental/Psychedelic vibe to it. If you're interested in hearing something more pure Black Metal from them, try out their debut album Scorn Defeat, though that's actually one of their albums I'm the least thrilled about, though I like all of their albums, and love most of them. My top three albums of theirs I think would be; Hail Horror Hail, Imaginary Sonicscape, and In Somniphobia, which are all among their more Avant-garde stuff. Some other albums of theirs like Scenes From Hell, Gallows Gallery, and Infidel Art are also great. Despite these other albums not being my favourites of theirs, Scenario IV: Dread Dreams, Ghastly Funeral Theatre, Hangman's Hymn, and the aforementioned Scorn Defeat are all very good as well. I basically just named their whole main discography, but they're my favourite band, so that can pretty much explain my fanaticism around them.

I posted about their new album, Graveward, which's being released this year in that "Albums Released In 2015 That You're Enjoying Or Expecting To" thread I started, and I'm pretty hyped for it. I'll probably be posting quite soon about some more information on some other music releases I've discovered, or releases I've gotten more information on for this year in that thread. Including some info on Sigh's new album as to get the thread back on topic, since it kinda turned into a me recommending Jebus some music type of thread for a while.

Also, I'll probably have to go check out that youtuber whom you got part of your username from, since I've kinda been wanting to, but had lacked the initiative to check out more youtubers who have discussed those types of issues. It would definitely be interesting to hear some more well thought out perspectives on the topics regarding religion, and also hearing how they're disassembling and analyzing the irrational claims some people have come up with. So, I'll make a point of checking out that channel today.

'You need Jesus!'
'Allah will burn you in hell!'
'You do not have a purpose in life!'
'You are the worst!'
'The Universe and everything in it is so fine-tuned and complex... there has to be a Creator!'
'Enjoy hell loser'

These are basically the things some people say about Atheists such as myself. I can understand why they resort to such comments, yet I wonder why they do not bother to actually read an outstanding science book. No, Patrick, the Bible is not a science book. Neither is the Qur'an.

They think I am making a big mistake... well the reality is that ever since becoming an Atheist over 1 year ago, I became much more eager to learn and become a better person in the world around me.... unlike religion which commanded me to do such things for God. If I ever come across the question 'Will you ever follow a religion/God again?', I will just say 'HELL NO'.
It sucks to be labelled as a 'cow' and an 'immoral bastard' just for being a vegetarian and an atheist, respectively, but I find it liberating to know that my lifestyle is based upon compassion and science! Not some total BS.

Mine comes from PAYDAY 2, a game with missions in it.
These missions are ordered by different people with different personalities.
One of them is Vlad, a crazy russian.
In the end of missions, those who ordered the mission would say a comment about the job or somehting like that.
And one of Vlad's quotes was this "Vlad is on the rise, LIKE A FUCKING SPUTNIK"
And it was funny, and "caught on" with the community, some people taking a sputnik and adding Vlad's head on it.
That is all...
Goodbye.
