If someone asked you to give them your life savings and they'd double it within a year, would you do it if they have no evidence to prove that they can? Or they ask you to believe in anything they're saying but not giving you any evidence that it's real, on what basis can you honestly do that?

There are loads of deities each asking you to believe that they're real without any evidence. The moment you accept anything is true without evidence, there is no basis for you to not accept any othee claim without evidence either. You'd have to accept any and all baseless and even contradictory claims since the logic one is falling is accept something despite lack of evidence.

It is wrong always, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence. - William Kingdon Clifford

Everyone says that of their own religion and the proof is the book which is actually the claim.

It's like me saying in a book that I can fly supernaturally by flapping my hands and when anyone asks me for proof I point to my book and say you should listen to my divine word in that book, else nothing will ever convince you of the truth. and I am supposed to be surprised that they don't believe me.

The book is making a claim, it is not the evidence.

C'mon Dizzy, have a little faith in Gaben! Without him, you'd probably eventually commit suicide from all the voices in your head telling you to open your wallet for Gaben. Please Dizzy, I care about you, and I do not want you to suffer the same fate as the dying 17 year old boy I met, who had never heard the wonders and glory of Gaben.
