Before you say it, no, it didn't need to be set in motion. All that's involved is gas clouds pulling towards each other. There's no legitimate proof for heaven's existence. At least if there is, I haven't seen it yet. If you have it, I'd be more than excited to see it. Before you put in a Bible verse, the Bible doesn't count. The Bible is the claim, not the evidence.

I don't know about the evolution idea. I'm not saying it isn't true, just questioning whether or not it is relevant.

It seems to me like a cop-out, because it assumes that something is wrong, but doesn't explain why, and just says that atheists won't do it anyway because of evolution, when the question is, "How can atheists know right from wrong?"

What if, for some reason, it was evolutionarily beneficial to go around killing everyone in sight? Would it become a good thing to do?

Correct, that might be to make the naturalistic fallacy (as distinct from the appeal to nature fallacy). Evolution (both biological and social) is part of what makes it feel wrong to us. But feeling is not being. Philosophy is what makes it actually wrong; because it's harming another being, whether it feels wrong or not.

It's largely a semantic issue; what IS morality? Or what's it supposed to be, according to usage or tradition of the word?
Beyond that, it's an issue of questioning whether the concept is logically coherent.
