Alright, it's my first script on a political issue, so it may not be that good. I'm also a bit reluctant to make a video about this, since these people who sign petitions are pretty easy targets, and I have stated in another script or 2 that it's not very intellectually honest to go after low hanging fruit. Also, I also had an idea for talking about crowd fucking a little bit, and I figured since they were similar in some respects, I'd include it into the script. Anyways, here goes nothing:

And it fucking turns out the mother fucking cocksucking piece of shit file got corrupted. However, there's still hope. Whenever I highlight the page, it does seem to highlight text, the text is somehow invisible though. If any of you have any suggestions as to how to fix this, that will be much appreciated.

What program did you write in? You could try opening the file in notepad.

I used Wordpad, since I didn't think I needed anything in particular. Anyways, I tried using notepad, and the file still opened up blank..

I'm just about done with the new script and it's coming out even better than the last. I'll be sure to upload it later tonight or tomorrow.

That moment when you get up super early, because really late last night you 'realized' you had something due tomorrow in English class, even though the teacher hadn't mentioned it since the beginning of last week. And since you went to bed super late yesterday doing all your HW, you're really tired in the morning, and you decide to break your rule and have coffee because there's no way you can type anything while feeling like you're about to fall asleep any minute. And then you go online to see if the thing you're writing is classified is an essay, and it is, but it's an IN CLASS ESSAY?! Good job me.

*falls asleep*

It's odd that I didn't notice it was an in class essay last night when I was looking at the website. :?
I don't really pick up things that late though apparently, I also thought a 'v' in a math problem was a 'y' with the leg cut off for literally no reason.

...So what's up with you guys? :D

Oh, y'know, doing my work on time, going to bed at reasonable hours, filing my taxes, like a normal person.

Any-fucking-way (I'm gonna be saying that a lot more now), here's the script.

-You know these crowd funding sites like Kickstarter and Indegogo? For those who've been residing in a makeshift tent in Somalia, crowdfunding is where you have the idea for a project, but you have neither the time nor resources to accomplish it. So what do you do? Ask the public for free money, of course! The only issue is that you have to get enough saps to actually take interest in your project to throw enough of their parent's money (or their own money, by some off chance) at you. Now in all honesty, I have no real issue with crowd funding. I have considered giving money to some projects, but then I just figured to myself "..... nah". It didn't really seem to make much of a difference, since all the ones I wanted to give money to (which was like, 4) exceeded their goals for the most part, so my $1 wouldn't really do much. I've also noticed a few video game or movie projects that exceeds the amount they were asking for, yet the product doesn't even come close to sniffing the expectations of the people in the community. I heard of a game a few years back known as "Mighty No. 9", which, from my understanding, is based off the Megaman series. I mean, when I first saw it, I thought it looked cheesy as shit, but apparently, people were to give this guy and his team some of their hard earned money. This project was started by the one and only (whatever the hell the guys name is) and the project called for 900 fucking thousand dollars.Do you really need all that fucking money to make a platformer? I could list a few indie platformers with a budget that came out of their own pockets. This project reached it's goal in only a matter of two days. This project made it's goal.. 4 times over.. with a shitload of extra spending money. I mean come on, theoretically, this game should at least rival that of the classic side-scrolling platformer greats. Super Mario Bros, Rayman Legends, Battleblock Theater, Yoshis Island, or even the Megaman series that this game is based off of. So (at the time) it was probably safe to say that the hype for this game was off the charts. I'm pretty sure that I'd be pretty excited for this game if I actually cared for it. The game was delayed for bout 2-3 years (for some reason), which made the hype for this project expand, and likely make you think that all this time may be due to them having more ideas and artistic/battle/story/level implements that they want to put in to make it better. And what did the public get? A generic, mediocre (at best) side scrolling platformer that, from my understanding, was pretty much a rehash of Megaman with little to offer. So many bad reviews for this game.. you wouldn't really expect that from a game that received 4 times the amount it asked for. I decided to watch some gameplay, and they are not fucking wrong. While I'm not one to complain about graphics (hell, Minecraft used to be my all time favourite game), the graphics for this game look more or less shit. The gameplay is extremely similar to the original megaman games, and one of the bosses is literally Pong. Seriously? I mean at least make it more fast paced for christing out loud. I bet those poor saps who gave this jackoff and his team 10,000 dollars are more than just pissed off. I mean, it's like promising a child that you'll give them all the sweets that their little heart desires, IF they clean the house, repaint the living room, make a 5 course meal for the entire family, do all of the laundry, take your car for an oil change, AND mow the lawn/tend to the garden, and then end up giving them Turkey Hill (The joke is that Turkey Hill is a shitty ice cream brand. Of course I don't eat it, but when I did, I recall it being on par with shit). And want to know what makes it even worse? To add insult to injury, the game costs twenty dollars! Are you kidding me? You made over 3 and a half MILLION dollars to make a lower than shit game, and you have the audacity to make it 20 BUCKS? I mean, it doesn't have to be free to play, but this didn't come out of your pocket; this money WAS GIVEN TO YOU. THERE WAS NO RISK IN NOT EXCEEDING YOUR BUDGET. Honestly, that just pisses me off even more. Oh shit, I just realised I went on a huge tangent about ONE kickstarter project. I guess you can just use this story as an example as to the really bad part of Kickstarter, and that even projects that you may think are worth your time and money are worth it, but in the end, are just shameless, disgusting cash grabs. I mean, it's obvious that you have stupid shit on there, it's the internet for God's sakes. Seriously, just Google "Stupidest Kickstarter Projects", and you'll get about 14,400 results. Here's one from digitaltrends.com. Erm let's see here... Thomas The Tank Engine RPG... Gravgen, gravity-powered generators Twerk Island a Real Contest Movie? Okay we're done here, let's move on.
-I remember when I first heard of Change.org; it was back in November of 2013 when YouTube changed it's layout to have Google+ to be fused with Youtube. Being the senseless dumbass that I was (and still am) I signed the God Damn thing, in the hopes that it would actually do anything. It didn't get the amount og signatures it needed, but even if it did, it wouldn't have really made any difference. People were getting pissed of about privacy, others were getting pissed about the principal, and others got pissed because they didn't want the layout changed, and others signed it just because. Honestly, the Google+ comment thing update made literally no difference in privacy, at least from my understanding. Google is making you use your Google+ account when you comment, boo fucking hoo! People stopped caring after about a month passed. But that's besides the point. I used I did sign a few other ones on the site,to sign petitions on Change.org, and honestly, I don't think any of the ones I've signed did jack shit, even if they did reach the amount of signatures they need. Anyways, the thing that inspired me to make this video was that a few days ago, I watched AsapSciences video on global warming. Normally, I don't watch their videos since they did advocate pseudoscience, and most of all their videos are just stupid, but for some reason thet got Bill Nye to be on their channel.. again. So since Bill Bye was there, I'm pretty much there as well. Honestly, Bill was the only thing that kept my already short attention span going. But what pissed me off was at the end, when they asked for us to sign a petition so that the companies that drill oil and cause global warming stop doing what they are doing. Do you think those people do all this damage to the environment give a solitary fuck? Do they care that 10,000 people from some first world country took 2 minutes out of their day to sign some asinine petition because they disagree with them? NO! They're aware that the whole world condemns them! Do they care? Are they gonna care now that 10,000 morons took the time to sign a petition? "Oh, 10,000 people signed a petition about why they think our actions are immoral and unjust, maybe we should change our ways". If you think for even a second something like that will run through their heads, you're so delusional I'm surprised that you are still functioning as a human being. These companies are kinda trying to make money, no matter how immoral the actions are .Seriously, what power does this petition have to magically make everything better? If they actually did something, the world would be a fuck if a lot better. Unfortunately, that ain't the case. Then again, you're a pampered citizen residing in the first world, so the thought of even going to the people that are the root of the problem is too much for you. Look, I'm not saying that all petition attempts are futile. But for ineffectual things such as Allowing Free Music to be Eligible for Grammy Nomination, Taking a Stand Against Human Trafficking in the US (these are actual petitions by the way) or Helping end "Honour" Killings in Pakistan, a petition is a waste of time and energy that could be put towards actually helping. An online petition is just a metaphorical piece of paper that has 10,000 names on it with people who agree with a certain cause that just goes straight to the paper shredder. Stop signing absurd petitions, and do something to help. Eh, who the hell am I kidding? People just want to do something about it without really doing anything to actually help to make them feel better about themselves. Just think of it like a way for people to think they did something, or even give them a sense of moral practice, just by sitting at their chair or fucking around on their phones. "I signed a petition! I'm more morally conscious than you!". Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night, pal.

I want to add a few more things and remove others completely, but what do you think?

Seems like this is two rants, one against kickstarter projects, the other against online petitions. I think the last part, starting after the Google+ issue, is great. True rant material there. Above that seems a little all over the place rant, but with potential if edited.

I did the 2 together because to me they seemed pretty similar. But thanks for the feedback! Anything else I could add/change/remove?

ETA: I'm also very tempted to make a video responding to TJs video "Fat People Logic", but I'm resisting, since it's a pretty easy target. Opinions?

Hey guys, I'm in the process of recording the audio for my new video. I'll be using a USB mic, and I'll have to edit with WMM for the time being. I also added an extra segment about petitions to my video. Should I include it? (I'll upload the audio to a website so you guys can listen to it if you want).

But I've actually seen petitions that are so absurd, you'll probably won't want to be associating yourself with the internet any longer. A about a few months or so ago, the new Paper Mario game was announced, titled "Paper Mario Color Splash". The reception for the announcement was pretty shitty, and some morons took to Change.org in order to get the title canceled. I'm not joking. As of writing this, it currently holds over 1,700 signatures. I honestly don't understand these idiots. I mean, yeah, sure, Sticker Star sucked ass, and Paper Jam was a bit of a let down, and The Thousand Year Door did kick a lot of ass, but seriously, you want to get the game fucking cancelled? Why, because the last game in the series sucked and with your limited knowledge of the game and it's battle systems and such, you want them to stop making the fucking game? Why? Firstly, what about the people who are actually looking forward to this game? The people who have the rational to conclude "Hey, maybe they fixed their mistakes and are attempting to implement new game mechanics". Fuck 'em, eh? You know what's best for them, I'm sure of it. Secondly, if you really want to get a game pulled, you're gonna need a helluva lot more than 2,500 measly signatures. You'd need at least 1,000,000 until Nintendo realizes releasing the game would be a financial mistake. Thirdly, how the fuck do you know how the game will turn out? For all we know, this game may be better than The Thousand Year Door (although that's unlikely)! I mean, just look at the N64 game GoldenEye007. People were expecting it to suck major dick, and what do ya' know, it's often cited as one of the greatest games ever made, and by some, one of the most influential in the FPS genre, AND, the 3rd best-selling game for the N64, right after Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64. The game didn't even fucking come out yet! The trailer does look promising! I'd buy it if I had a Wii U. This may be a stretch, but I have a feeling these jerk offs just want the classic turn-based style of RPG the first 2 Paper Marios had. These people are scared of changes in game-style. Kinda ironic, since they are taking this petition to Change.org. But hey, at least their asinine petition wont' hurt us. Nintendo is smart enough to not care, so neither should we.
And as a closing. If any of you watching (or reading in this case) have signed a petitions that are similar to these, lemme just be the first to say; Nobody cares. I've already established this into oblivion, but in case you didn't get it, petitions for the most part are useless. They don't help anything, all they do is make the claim that you and a few thousand other jerkoffs participated in a game of Soggy Biscuit, and pretended to help, when in reality, you just wanted to do the smallest thing you can do- Actually, not even the smallest. Donating one cent is the smallest. An online petition is like on the other side of the spectrum.. 5 times over. Okay, hope you learned something. Bye!
