Oh my god...
Bernie Sanders is winning Iowa 51% to Hillary Clinton's 43%, and he's winning New Hampshire 60% to her 33%!

He's winning the first two states.
He's very likely to win Iowa, and he's definitely going to win New Hampshire.
I just... Wow...

I just can't believe it, really. Imagine how amazing it would be for Bernie Sanders to be the President.
Just imagine...
Imagine having a President who doesn't take bribes...
Imagine getting our democracy on the federal level back.
Imagine doing something about climate change.
Imagine having an HONEST President.
Imagine having healthcare for everyone.
And imagine the reaction of Fox News and the republicans... ;D

Fox news would probably try to cover it up.

"America doesn't want bribes... America elected Bernie Sanders? Can't explain that!"
But no, I think they'd probably blame it on abortion and black people, or something. ;D

Gotta love Bernie!

He's still winning in Iowa, and is leading by a LOT in New Hampshire.

Bernie may very well win Iowa and will definitely win New Hampshire, and while those are better predictors of later success for Democrats than Republicans (Huckabee and Santorum won Iowa in '08/'12 - WTF?), I remain jadedly skeptical. He's getting trounced in South Carolina which makes zero sense. I'm not a political scientist nor a person of color, so I'm not going to go down the slippery slope of telling people how to vote (an issue through which many Bernie supporters are receiving pushback). I will simply remain quietly stunned at the fact that people who have for centuries been treated like second-class citizens somehow remain political moderates.
I'm just thankful Bernie's message is getting out there. I loathe the two-party system. Hillary could easily run as a Republican if that party wasn't so hellbent on denying women's healthcare and LGBTQ rights. The morons on the right with the "Hillary Lied - 4 'Mericans Died!" bumper stickers need to slow their roll lest a real progressive sneak up and win this thing.

Actually, about South Carolina: http://www.inquisitr.com/2754225/bernie-sanders-polls-south-carolina-poll-numbers-show-sanders-attacking-one-of-hillary-clintons-major-strengths/
Also note that if Bernie wins the first two states that his numbers are likely to rise all across the country.
I can't believe the Iowa caucus is tomorrow... O_O!

If Bernie wins South Carolina, I'll eat my hat. I wouldn't be surprised if he loses Iowa by double digits, either. Most of his supporters there are first time caucus-goers, and it's a confusing process.
People who support underdogs chide FiveThirtyEight, but they're very rarely wrong when it comes to digging into the various poll numbers. They give Bernie a 21% chance of winning Iowa and only a 3% chance of winning South Carolina.
