Hello, all

Hey, Vegan Atheist Forum, my name is Kyron.
I'm currently 19 years old, and about to start a degree in Computer Character Animation. My interests inclu.... I like... Man, it's pretty hard to introduce yourself without making it look like a dating profile. Ha, ha. Anyway, other than animation, in my free time I like to (see what I mean.) learn programming languages, watch cartoons/educational-videos/documentaries and of course, rant online.
I've been watching Vegan Athiest's videos for quite some time. And even while I was still a meat-eater, I agreed with him and acknowledged that my diet was pretty shitty morally. For weeks every bite into a Tuna sandwich, Chicken Nugget etc. left me with a guilty pain in my throat. After messaging VA directly regarding some questions on Free Range Eggs, and after watching the 101 Reasons To Go Vegan (and meat.org) video(s), I told my parents there and then that I was going to start a vegan diet once I left home pretty soon, not to inconvenience my family. My mother's encouragement to "start now" was surprising to me. Although she thought it to be a bit extreme, she did not want me to leave the house clueless as what to buy, and to lose any more weight.
I've been Vegan for.. 7 months now and it's been a breeze for me. I overestimated how difficult a change in diet would be. The first few weeks were pretty tough in regards to learning what to eat. But I'm really comfortable checking ingredients and trying out new vegan foods. Originally, I was pretty weary of starting a vegan diet, as my BMI was pretty low. However, surprisingly, I've actually put on weight since starting my vegan diet. I can only assume due to being able to eat larger portions, and not suffering with indigestion as much. I'm now a pretty comfortable weight.
Not much of a story for me being Athiest. I was brought up in a household that didn't go to church, but believed in a Christian God (well... an afterlife, mostly.) but I didn't really learn anything about 'God' until I went to school. My public school actually had a reverend come in with a puppet, and had us singing songs about Jesus... Crazy times. All that stopped at high-school, where I started thinking for myself more and let go of the idea of an afterlife. I prefer basing my beliefs on evidence..
Anyway. I'm looking forward to joining in conversations and debates here. I hope you'll enjoy my company! (:
Side Note:
VA, if you're reading - Love the Metro theme for the forum, but, I'd like to give a design suggestion. It may look nicer to center and reduce the size of the logo. Here's an example of what that may look like: http://i.imgur.com/gnI5nH9.png - If you'd prefer that and need some code-help to change that. I'd be happy to direct you and give you the code to add.
