Philosophical Vegan Forum

I was a vegetarian for a couple years until I became a vegan the Summer before last. I've been an atheist longer--almost 8 years. It started with general disbelief then grew into a real subject of interest, which led me to read holy books such as the Bible and Qur'an. I watched all the Hitchen's debates (over and over), as well as debates featuring Aayan Hirsi Ali, Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins. Then I got more interested in the science side, with both vegan nutrition and the universe. I'm just a very curious person who likes to learn, expand my mind and stay healthy. I have strong opinions because I like to research things, but I also enjoy polite discussion/debate and reserve the right to change my mind if presented with facts that persuade me otherwise. Really looking forward to being a part of this forum!

I love pretty much everything about biology, especially marine biology, human nutrition science, botany, mycology, biochemistry and cosmology. I don't know much about cosmology yet, but it's definitely a subject I've been looking into recently. I want to get involved in the animal rights/abuse discussions, as well as the theist vs. non-theist debates. I also need some new vegan recipes to try. Should be fun

That's nice, I am also interested in cosmology, any science like physics or astronomy interests me. I hope you find what you are looking for on the forum.
