The disabled skeptic

Post by AsmodesReynolds »

I'm Asmodes's Reynolds, I've been looking into vegetarianism and Veganism for a while, for health reasons. stumbled across to the TVA YT channel, and thought I'd join to try and understand the moral reasoning behind Veganism, and maybe debate some more intelligent Christians about theism. I started a thread that you can join in on here: https://theveganatheist.com/forum/viewt ... =22&t=1258,

bobo0100 been absolutely great at being patient with me and explaining things explaining things, but it would be great to get more than just bobo0100's perspective. Be aware that most of the posts are 1000+ words meta-ethics isn't the easiest thing to discuss in short posts , so please put on your reading glasses and join us.....

Welcome to the forums! You seem very open minded, that's awesome. I personally prefer to have a one on one discussion rather than a 2 on one or more, since you have to split your attention and I need to do a lot more reading to avoid repeating points already made. I'll stay out of that discussion for that reason, but I'm sure we can have a good conversation down the line.

Hi Asmodes's Reynolds, welcome.

I'll help answer any questions you have. You joined at a busy time for me, but I will check out the thread soon (thus far I have been unable to read it, since as you said they are long posts).

You could help us get started, if you want, by summarizing the arguments made in key points (that would help overcome the hurdle of entering the discussion). Totally optional, but it would help us reply more if there was a summary post every now and then.

Miniboes,
The best you can do with regard to that thread is skim over the posts, and then comment if you agree with Bobo, or if you have any additional points, or disagreements with anything he's said.
More reading, less typing. If it's too much, you could try to focus on one particular point.
Don't fear repeating things, though. When there's that much text, it's inevitable now and then.
