A few weeks ago, one of my favourite YouTube animators, Piemations, released an animation titled "Friendship Is Violence". Everyone in the comments find it halarious, y'know laughing and giving high fives, etc. Even the reaction videos gave it a positive view. And I found it.. well.. stupid. I mean, don't get me wrong, it was definatley well made, but I'm probably the only one who finds it not funny. If you want my full reaction to it, watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67tgrJQTplU
Now, I used to be an avid Piemations fan. I watched his entire "Meet The Amazing" series from start to finish. But now rewatching them.. I don't find them funny anymore. And he's not to only one. I used to follow homestarrunner.com, and I personally found the animations they made hilarious. Now, I only crack a smile instead of rolling on the floor. There are a few other ones, but this is basically what is happening to everything I used to find funny. I'm not depressed, that's far from the truth. I just don't find many things funny anymore. So yeah is everyone just not funny? Am I not funny? Or has my sense of humour evolved and everyone elses in my generation has completely stayed the same?

This is probably evidence of an evolving/maturing sense of humor, not the loss of one.
When people are children, every fart and poop joke is hilarious. As adults, we move beyond that, and only the most sophisticated fart and poop jokes are worthy.

Anyway, I agree that it's not a loss of humor. I thought that video was annoying too, but I laugh at a lot of things, like that interview.

Anyways, if you watch the Friendship is Violence short, I'm pretty sure you'll agree it sucks. Not only is it not funny, everything is contrived, there are too many gross out jokes, some scenes go on for way too long, and there's no real story for it to go by. Now if I were still 12, I would look past all that because I had relatively low standards.
