Did I ever say that? I never implyed that it was harmful, rather I was implying that it made people more religion biased, which would manifest itself into more political things. I personally for one think that people can believe what they want, but it should be left out of public schools and government. While I myself am not a fan of the current public school system and government, keeping religion out of said things allows more, say, self thought and not indoctrination.

(Scratches head) Ya' lost me.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII don't understand.

Yeah maybe for the topic. In my rant as a whole, I was referring to the f*ckers (i.e. Dusty Smith) who mock religion with the only purpose is to degrogatize (That's not a word, but I'm making it one) the religion population as a whole, like calling the entire Muslim population f-ing retarded. Sure, George Carlin was one of the best comedians I ever came across, but I'm pretty sure most of the audience watched for the jokes, and to identify with George. And even then, in one of his books, the preface states that he doesn't give a fuck what happens to this country.

What?[/quote]
I was trying to say that people will make some decisions due to atheistic reasons. For instance, they may use an ad hominim and avoid all religious contributions and alike. Another example is the Chapel Hill Shootings. While the killer may or may not have killed due to his religious views, a safe assertion would be that he was bigoted and for that atheistic bigotry to manifest itself into violence. Look, atheists can be just as biased as religious people when it comes to stuff like this. And as insane as this may sound, an atheistic polititian may say that we need to teach children the value of atheism and the possibility of there being no God, instead of letting them think for themselves (unless the parents are for the force beliefs to child philosophy

). You may say that sounds like an implausible possibility, but hey, religious political figures say it all the time. Ok well maybe not all the time. Jesus christ I'm starting to sound like S.E. Cupp here. To counter that statement, I say that atheistic politians can be just as bad as religious polititians. Or just as good. I really don't care about that stuff, despite what you may have read in this rant.
