animation is hard

Post by Red »

so yeah recently I've been practicing some animating, and it's fun albeit super tedious and difficult at the same time. i'm not using flash since I'm just starting out and SFM doesn't run on my computer (I will upgrade next year thank you very much). I am planning on making an animation that like what, 20-30 seconds long? If there's anything I learned about starting an animation, it's don't bite off more than you can chew. It's not like it's super easy to make 10 minute high quality animations, which takes months or years to get to depending on your style of animationing. So anyways, I am going to make a super duper ultra mega simple animation for starting, but I need some ideas. So yeah, you're basically my writers for my first piece of human waste known as an animation. Anyways, do you think that I will be able to accomplish animating? Or do you think I'll just give up on it and go and try doing something else that doesn't make any sense?

Maybe an overly sad man crying in an exagerated (Is that how you spell it?) manner, with this playing in the background. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2D8oUY6bkdA I just had the idea when I left some floks behind in some game. But that might be a little bitty dark-ey.
