"Animals can't learn or teach to each other we can so they are on a lower standard then us" I hear this alot when it comes to animal treatment in discussion (like I said before I don't have many people to talk with that are reasonable). Look to octopi for one octopi use the ability we call problem solving to learn to open a jar and can teach other octopi the same. certain feline species teach their young how they hunt instead of being completely instinctual. There may be other examples but yeah I wanted to get this out there.
