PC problem

Post by knot »

My desktop PC has gotten harder and harder to turn on. The lights turn on and the fans start spinning, but I don't get a BIOS screen before it automatically reboots. Sometimes I can get it to fully power on... mostly based on luck it seems. When it's on it usually stays on for 8 hours before I either get a Blue Screen of Death or it starts making extremely loud noises that force me to shut it off. The fans don't seem damaged and the CPU temperature was within the normal range when I checked. I also tried cleaning it on the inside and re-seating the RAM, but still no luck.

Anyone have a clue what might be wrong? =(

After going vegan I don't want to throw out things anymore, so if I have to build a new PC which components of the old one should I reuse?

Blizzy, you're making progress. I almost smiled when I read your post. ALMOST !

But anyways I fixed the problem somehow by taking out all components and putting them back in

Are you sure it's not dust inside your pc? I have similar problems every now and then, and it's always dust. It's really easy to clean with a can of compressed air.

I think that might be part of the problem, I will try and buy a can of compressed air. I read that it could also be a moisture problem so I wanna try putting a anti-moisture bag inside the case

You Libarals trying to be all nice when you know that the Muslims are terrorists, just look at Paris when they killed so many innocent non-whites! #PrayforParis
