How factual is this. Are the astrological things factual? or is it made up to support the point they are trying to make. If it is all factual then it is fairly surden that the Christian god is nothing more than an adaptation of sun worship.

Astrotheology is as same nonsense as Astrology. The first argument is when you study for real mythology and what it is inserted there at the first part you will discover something else.
The words about SUN and SETH only applies in the english language and this is why the argument is null.
In rest of it, zeitgeist is very intelligent and does deserves attention.

what i meant was. If all the gods with the same features as jesus are real and not made up. And the fact that long before the bible, people had the astrological understanding as mentioned in the clib. Then it must be sun worship.

It's easy to draw links between all sorts of things; but correlations don't always mean causation.
In terms of religion, people have been copying each other since the beginning, and given the lack of solid written records, it's hard to tell where anything came from. The Jesus story (the details, at least) was certainly fabricated, though it's not clear how many people were involved, and if it just built up over time (the likely case).

I totally agree with brimstoneSalad on this one, of course there are many writings, and all of the gnostic writings reffered to Jesus as a man, not a god, unfortunetly this name was used to other purposes later.
Sun worship is not something unusual however, even today there are some who worship the sun (but not in the religious way)...i watched George Carlin explaining about this and he was right at least that the sun is there and not cursing everyone., and helped our species to evolve. I cannot condamn those who tend to look at the sun as to a ”god” since the sun created the earth.

Well the way i see it, the way Christianity is put together, i always figured it must have been handcrafted to gain power. Even before Christianity, you would have seen in other cultures just how powerful being to controller of divine law can be. It is the most powerful tool in all of history.

Not hand crafted for that purpose, exactly. Religions evolve like any animal, and they're a mess of contributions by different people, not necessarily with a goal in mind.
Mormonism and Islam were hand crafted, but they're still based on earlier work, and have also had some selective pressures and mutations.
Giraffes didn't decide to get longer necks, it's just the giraffes with longer necks were more successful. Same with religion: There have been millions upon millions of variations, from tribe to tribe, and individual to individual. Those religions which facilitated strong authority were more successful than others.

Zeitgeist contains some good points, but it is very simplified
Chorus and Krishna had students but they did not have 12 students.
They did not die on cross
Jezus was based on strongly on Galius Julius Ceasar. He was believed to be a son of goddess Wenus also betreyal part.
However, he was also strongly inspired by god Dionysus. He was god of harvest and wine. (this is what from the sacrament come from) He was born of mortal woman, who was impregnated by god Zeus.
(Jezus - Zeus)
http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/bibli ... zar_33.htm
Dionysus also died and was brought back to life.
"the son of Zeus was a horned child who was torn to pieces by Titans who lured him with toys, then boiled and ate him.[28][29] Zeus then destroyed the Titans by thunderbolt as a result of their action against Dionysus and from the ashes humans were formed.[29] However, Dionysus' grandmother Rhea managed to put some of his pieces back together (principally from his heart that was spared) and brought him back to life.[28][29] Scholars such as Barry Powell have suggested Dionysus as an example of resurrection." (Wikipedia)
Which comes from motif of god Osiris that was killed by god of evil Seth. His body was cut into many pieces. His wife Isis managed to restore body. Then she asked god of wisdom Thoth to ressurect him.
All religions are one big plagiarism.
There were many sects that believed that gods from different religions are the same gods. For example Hermetism is belief in which Thoth and Hermes are the same god.
