Merry Christmas Chaps and Chapettes!

Post by Red »

So what'd everyone get for Christmas?
I got
1. Clothes (not that I care)
2. 100 bucks for steam
3. Free money
4. Lazy Nezumi (thx brimstone xoxoxo)
5. Call of Battlefield: Black ops 6
6. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remicks
7. A new calender
8. other stuff
what about you?
oh and brimstone, however can I repay you for showing me this program?
UPDATE: Turns out the program only runs on windows and I'm a filthy mac user, so we'll have to find another way..

Oh, hardly anything works on Macs. Mac is better for casual computer use, like email and web browsing. Once you get into professional software, you'll find many more options with windows (you've probably already had some trouble with gaming on Mac; it takes a real stoic to deal with that).

You can, however, use Bootcamp:

If you're not ready for a new computer yet, that is. You'll have to consider the cost of the software and windows license. It might be easier to get a notebook.

My friends say that Macs are more of "work" computers, which I guess is true compared to Windows.

Hm. I wonder why..

True. It takes 3 minutes for a game like TF2 to load up, and another 5 minutes to connect to a server.

Hm. I'll consider it..

Well my brother has a Windows computer, so it's redundant to have 2.
As for the notebook, I want a way to allow it to be seen as if it was tablet-drawn. You know what I mean?

Well, Windows is superior for work and play. I would say Mac are more layman friendly/casual computers. Good computers for non-computer people.
You would be better off giving a typical grandmother a mac than a windows computer, for example.

Linux is another option, but even harder for a non-technical user to use.

More people use it for that, and it's easier to develop for because of that.

Can you use his computer to draw?

Here is my list.

Clothes
Firework poppers
Fifteen dollars for iTunes
One hundred dollars
A "mip" robot
The game dishonored, game of the year edition. (But the game disc was not inside the case, so we'll just have to pitch a complaint to Amazon.)

And an aerial drone. So that's it.

Not really, the gifts came from different sources. Or are you referring to my monetary gift making me rich?
