Here is My Opinion on the Refugee Crisis (Note that im only 18, im not highly educated in this specific topic but i use my common sense and im my parents were Migrants from India). Before we make any decisions we need to separate the people who are actually Refugees and need our help to survive from the people who are using this tragedy for personal gain. Should we help the real refugees ? YES. Should we bring a large amount of them in a short span of time (4-8 years) to the west? NO. Let me Explain. Statistics show that for every 1 "Refugee" or "Migrant" or whatever you want to call them we bring to the west there are around 10 that we could help in the East. This means that just bringing them over here will cost more while we could be helping an additional 10 people. What we need to do is to fund and assist countries that are safe that are close to Syria (Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran). That way when Syria becomes safe again we can help the Refugees rebuild there homes. After the people are safe the world governments must form a united Coalition to fight Terrorists like ISIS and other Faction fighting for power in the middle east. We must try all efforts such as boycotting ISIS Fuel and STOP SELLING THEM WEAPONS. Only as a last resort must we 'Bomb the shit out of Syria" because it will kill many innocent lives and destroy the environment. Fast Forward to after ISIS and other terrorist organizations are dealt with we must assist the people to rebuild there home and set up a stable democratic government. Now here are the reasons why i personally oppose bringing the Refugees in mass quantities to the west. First off a majority of them hold views that are incompatible with western values such as Freedom of Speech, Gender Equality, Freedom of Religion, etc. Second of all if we let them in, as of right now it will be impossible to properly vet them. Even the FBI Director says that USA does not have the resources to properly vet them, if USA cant vet them how will smaller countries? Before we let anyone in we must first protect our own people. Thirdly if we do however let them in they will out breed the native population and drain the welfare system. This has already been proven with what has happened to Sweden, Germany, and the UK. Now this is the part where i talk about Islam (Note that i am talking about the Quran, Hadith, and the Example/Biography of Mohamed im NOT talking about the people) Islam repeatedly orders its followers to wage "Jihad" (holy war) and to pretty much not stop until Islam is the only religion left. Now i know what you may be thinking "But wait, my friend is a Muslim and he does not support all this stuff", well let me tell you that its either hes Lying or hes not a true follower of Islam and just calls himself a Muslim because he was born in a Muslim family. In Islam there are only 3 options for anyone who is not a Muslim. 1. Become Muslim, 2. Pay a special type of Tax and become a second class citizen, or 3, Die. Islam at its core is NOT a "Religion of Peace" but it has the potential to be if it is reformed by people like Maajid Nawaz. But as of right now its not a religion of peace. We MUST First stop making Excuses and call the problem by its name, then we must all get together and debate Good and Bad ideas and let the Good Ideas win.
