Lets talk about Morality: Past Vs Present

Post by The Turbanator »

I am currently Debating a Regressive Sikh who Defends Islam. I show him Scientific Errors or the Quran, Verses or Violence, The Life and Exmaple of Mohamed. Muslim Opinion Polls, and then i brought out my big gun's and told him the Mohamed Raped a 9 year old girl.

My opponent responded and said this:

"1.How is it rape when they were married?
2.The culture 1400 years ago was different than it is todayu
: even in your grandparents' time, you'll notice that they married at a very young age (around 13)
3. Another 50 years before that, children married at the age of 9...
4. The culture was significantly different 1400 years ago, so don't judge him based off of today's standards.
5. You're skewing the facts, and presenting them with today's knowledge. What was acceptable then, isn't acceptable now. You're going to have to understand that.
6. In no way am I saying that Muhammad was the perfect man, or he couldn't make mistakes. Cause he was just human after all. But I won't allow you to misrepresent the facts in this situation."

This is his final argument and he is making a Final Stand. If i can manage to counter attack him and will sucessfully defeat him and make the bastard repent for his stupidity. Please help me out guys, we can only win the battle against bad ideas by taking out one idiot at a time, and this idiot has a lot of influence and will strike a moral blow to the rest.

1 . There are many recorded cases with cultures when the children did not want to be forced to marry what the family wants, even as adults its without the consent of the other..and children do not have that full consent, in fact many children want to enjoy their childhood and play, not having sex.

2. The culture remained the same, there are many advocates for this...you can really find them easy on youtube.
3. Having the fact that some married at the age of 9 does not mean it can justify or that its normal.
4. Its not...shariah law is the same...and like i ve said previously..there are many advocates for pedophilia today in the cult of islam.
5. the 2 and 4 point prove otherwise.
6. Yoube islamic with keywords(pedophilia, shariah and their garbage and flood him with the living examples today).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJnW8HRHLLw you could also give him this with the following question - where are the buddhist, taoist, bahai or jain suicide bombers or terrorists ?

I wish you goodluck with this... i personally avoid dogmatic people.
All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force..We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.” ~ Max Planck - Quantum Theory and Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918.
