Crooked Hillary vs. Donald the halfwit

How would you deal with Trump if you were running against him for the U.S. presidency. Usually name calling is considered immature and not presidential but in this case I think it would be a smart thing to do.

Hillary should attack Trump's (lack of) intelligence. His supporters love how he bullies his opponents which is why she should state that he is simply not intelligent enough to be president and she should refer to him as Donald the halfwit.

Trump has commented several times about how smart he is. If he challenges his opponent on her claim that he is not intelligent she could just challenge him to a televised IQ test which would certainly be a TV success.

I really don't like Crooked Hillary but I am certain she would humiliate Donald the halfwit in an IQ challenge.

Not sure that would work. After all, Bush Jr. was elected twice..

I don't think anybody would care for attacks on his intelligence. Trump is someone that can say the dumbest things imaginable and get away with it. Calling him names wouldn't work either, it'd just be interpreted as a lame move.

As I see it, people are simply sick of the establishment. Clinton embodies the establishment. I think she somehow has to distance herself from the established democratic party. I wouldn't know how though.

It's true that many like Trump because he is anti establishment but many others will vote for him because they like his confidence and aura of superiority. If Hillary decided to start making fun of his intelligence and calling him Donald the halfwit she would probably lose a couple of percent of her own voters but would gain a lot more of his. In any case, there is no way she could lose if she called him out for a televised IQ show off. How could he possibly weasel himself out of that and still save face?

This is different. Bush never claimed to be intelligent. People voted for him because he seemed like a regular guy (which of course was nonsense). However, Trump has said many times that he is of superior intelligence evidenced by his Wharton degree (although he won't release the transcripts) and his stellar business career (which is actually nothing but stellar).

Trump already challenged somebody to an IQ test. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-36299929
I question whether he would have done this if he didn't already know his IQ was high.

Somebody can have a high IQ and still be a moron. IQ is only part of the equation (a big part, but critical thinking, creativity, and knowledge [none of which IQ tests] are also essential).

What does IQ test for brimstone? I thought it was critical thinking.

Does IQ mean anything? Where do I go for a real IQ test? How much does it possibly cost?

IQ basically tells you some of the hardware specs of your brain, mainly the RAM: essentially a measure of potential and capability. Critical thinking is software. Knowledge is about what's stored on the hard drive (You can also look to measure the hard drive itself, memory tests which are also distinct from IQ, and reflect long term storage).

Good software can make up somewhat for shitty hardware, although somebody with a low IQ will never have the same potential.
High IQ has to come along with creativity and a good memory to do much good in terms of potential, and then has to be paired with good software.

It means quite a lot at low IQ. 115 is VERY different from 100, which is VERY different from 85. 130 isn't much higher than 115 though, and genius isn't much higher than 130. At the high end, creativity and good memory mean more.

IQ is one of those things that it's very important to have enough of, but where extra is less helpful. It's like you're baking a cake, and you have more flour than you need; it's not useful unless you have a proportionate amount of sugar and oil.

I've known my fair share of people with very high IQs who were dumb as rocks because they had poor memories and lacked intellectual creativity.

There's not much of a standard for IQ tests, though you can try the quiz on Mensa's site if you're curious:
https://www.mensa.org/

Your IQs are both over 115, and probably near 130, you don't have anything to worry about. Your IQs will not be the limiting factor in anything you do (unless you want to join Mensa, which I'm not sure is useful -- as I said, I've met some idiots who were technically geniuses).
You can learn to do better on IQ tests, but you can't actually increase your IQ much (thinking a lot and learning is your best bet, but it's not clear how much in adults, it's mostly genetic). Better to focus on improving software and filling the hard drive with useful information.

Well, as Einstein said,
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."

Oh, like needing more comparable amounts of other things to make it useful?

Wait how do you know?

So I guess it's all a matter of actually doing something rather than just having some bragging rights.

Well do you thinks it's worth it?
