Things I Have Noticed On News

Post by JadeSpeedster17 »

My mom constantly watches Fox News, and I've been noticing a trend of things.

It first started when I started to think mostly for myself. That they often restated things, or re did them every election. Also on just about everyone they thought didn't agree with them. One I noticed as the tend that every Democrat that took the lead was the 'Anti Christ' or would 'Destroy America' in some way. And their constant obsession with the Watergate Scandal.

Another thing I noticed next was how guest speakers, who try to call them out, are quickly shot down or shut down. Then restating the statement of 'Fair and Balanced'. It, creepily, reminded me of a horror story where the dictators, or aliens in some cases, would always restate their worlds, until they brainwashed a person. Or in most hypnosis ideas, they would always say a phase that would make another forget of everything that they just heard. All and all just freaky at how he quickly said 'Fair and Balanced' right after the person proved them wrong or tried to.

The set up of everything also got me thinking, what is with all the moving text, bright colors, and things popping up right before you can ask questions? It's almost like, as I stated before, like something out of a hypnotist story or alien movie. How, when people are talking about Obama Care, they are set up with the wife sitting and the man holding her shoulders standing behind her. Like it's all be scripted, and staged to fit everyone ideas, or at least conservatives, of a married couple who is unhappy. Then the idea of The Five was, to me, looked like something from a cartoon or game of some kind. People sitting around bullshitting.

Honestly I can't seem to listen to Bill O'Reilly when he spouts out things I know to be untrue. Once I started listening, I realized just how bias this place was. Also how they kept people coming in and staying is, I think, by a form of quickly giving them things to occupy their mind so they don't question or think about something for too long.

That's my idea, what do you all think? No i'm not crazy, I'm not saying they are aliens who are brainwashing us, though some seem to think that. I'm saying they are master manipulators and know that the human mind has a small attention span for most.
So thoughts?

Yeah, I totally agree. Fox News is just a propaganda outlet for the republican party. "Fair and balanced"
My parents have it on all the time recently. It's so full of shit it's unbelievable.

Fox has a conservative bias relative to other networks. It's pretty hard to say what really is "fair and balanced", since reality itself seems to have a liberal bias (given the bizarre ideas of modern conservatives, since the party got intertwined with fundamentalism).

True.

I also recently read a story on Trump Bashing, I got a good laugh from it. And I read the comments and decided to come off as a childish 15 year old and see who I could bait. And boy did I bait one of them.

It's almost too easy to get under theses peoples skins.
