I would like to ask the members of this community to please ignore troll posts.

Do not respond to their posts, just report them and they shall be dealt with.

I already was wondering whether I should inform people about this, still hoping they would come to the conclusion of stopping to feed the trolls themselves. But I don't want to act like a moderator:

Maybe extend this piece (or add a new rule) above to include not responding to trolls?

The sad thing is that the VeganChristian troll actually got more attention then other newcomers who are genuinely interested in having a fun conversation...

In the end, that'st why people troll -- for attention.

Dan, there should be a new way to delete posts now (moving them to a hidden graveyard section) which is not permanent.

The best way to deal with trolls is to move their threads and posts into that section where nobody will see them (including replies).

Without attention, and with their posts disappearing, the trolls will get bored and move on.

Has LogicIsNotRelative been banned from the forum? He was quite erratic and irrational, but I can't decide if he was actually a troll or just very stupid. I had a debate with him and he surprisingly seemed to listen to what I had to say, but he repeatedly misrepresented and ignored arguments I made (as well as arguments made by other forum members).

LogicIsNotRelative is not banned.

As far as I know, only two non-spam-bots have ever been banned.

One being the Nazi-troll VeganChristian.
The other was, I think, a temporary ban

I could be wrong.
