Seems like some really smart people have put in a lot of time and thought on this project. This website is highly recommended to anyone who is curious what the earth might be like when s/he is 80 years old.

Had a quick read through the predictions. Even if they are based on our current knowledge which may be nothing soon, it was a very humbling experience!

Kind of interesting. Some of the predictions seem reasonable, others a bit less so.

It seems both a little too optimistic in some technological aspects, and pessimistic in some social ones.
